Flinn Block Hall is a beautifully restored ballroom in one of Albany's oldest and most lovely buildings in the Downtown Historic District. White icicle lights sparkle from the soaring overhead beams and glow on the newly refinished antique fir floors. 100-year-old brick and soaring trusses overhead blend with the lights and cream-colored walls to make a uniquely elegant setting for any affair, and especially for weddings and receptions. Because of the beautiful setting, decorating can be simple or elaborate and always results in something special!
Modern amenities include:
- Elevator for full handicap access
- Large Service Bar/Buffet measuring 17' by 42" bar located at the back of the space, with a 12' counter and sink behind it; it is now updated with spacious undercounter commercial refrigeration and halogen spotlighting
- Catering Prep Area now available for storage and food prep, furnished with refrigerator and microwave
- Dressing rooms for bride and groom, beautifully furnished, so bridal parties can relax and get ready in comfortable surroundings
- New Lighting all with dimming capacity, to achieve just the right amount of light ambiance
- Electrical Outlets abound throughout the space for ease of use, including the bar/buffet area

All daily rentals include access for the entire day for set-up purposes (entrance as early as 8 AM), with the event to be held during any six-hour block of time on that day, ending by 10 PM. Additional hours after 10 PM are available.
